Weight watchers totally works. Writing down everything you eat is key to tracking your points, and there are enough points that I never felt hungry or like I was being denied. I agree with Jess, though, you have to be completely committed for it to work. Fried foods are pretty much out of your life, as are most fast-food items. That was the hardest thing for me because it seems like I'm always running around and need to grab lunch/dinner while heading to my next thing. But, once I got into the swing of it, everything worked out. I lost 25 lbs. in 3 months. Good luck!!

I have been doing Weight Watchers for over a year and have lost more than 75 pounds. I do it online and don't go to meetings, although I hear they're good. It's great. The thing about it is that you have to be really committed because otherwise it's easy to cheat. If you are committed (and it sounds like you are), it's incredibly effective.

Pete and I have been doing weight watchers about 6 months now...why didn't we start earlier!!! Pete has lost 52 pounds and I have lost 40.6 to date! It is easy and there is no commitment, when you are done going you are done paying. Easy as pie (LOL...read that after I typed it and laughed)! It is a great program and the meetings suck, we don't go. I would like to go, but the one near us is horrible and the leader is 97 years old. Friends of ours in NJ go and love thier leader. I think you need to go to a real WW center not a satilite location. I think they are better in the centers. Ours is close, but once we get back from the wedding we plan to switch.

I haven't done Weight Watchers myself, but I know a lot of people who have had success with it. My mom is a lifetime member. My brother and sister in law both had success with it. My friend, Angie, had a ton of success with it before she had her first child. I could keep going. I guess it motivates you when you're paying money for something like that.

Yes, I've done ww & lost weight on it. It's a great program! You do have to count "points" (instead of calories, but same concept), but if you're doing that anyway, you won't mind. You can just join on a week to week basis so there's no big upfront fee. It's not expensive & in my opinion, going to the meetings really is the key. Email me if you want more details.
