This week was a fabulous week. I was way under my budget of $50 a week, which is great. I have a few small things I still need to get, but I won’t pick those up until next week, most likely. I didn’t need much food-wise, since I still have a really good stockpile, so I picked up some things that were on sale that I know we’d use, and I stocked up on more toiletries.

One place I’ve wanted to visit but haven’t had a chance to yet is Memphis. You would think that I would have made it up there since my family has lived in Chattanooga, which isn’t *too* far away, for 16 years now. But, I haven’t. So, I think it’s time that the hubby and I take a kid-free trip up north.

Obviously, one of the places we would want to go see is Graceland. I’m not a huge Elvis fan, but you can’t go to Memphis and *not* go to Graceland.

I didn’t even have to check out a Memphis-savvy travel guide to come up with that! I also want to go to Beale Street. I’ve heard quite a bit about this area as part of Memphis night life, and it would be a fun night out on the town for me and the husband.

We made our final payment on last year’s IVF. Hooray! It’s quite a relief though, as I told my mom, now we can no longer say, “If you’re not good, we won’t make your payment and they’ll come take you back!” when Lucy is bad. But, how could this sweet face EVER be bad??

I really need some fat burner pills. I think some of those, along with my diet and exercise (which I really need to get back into now that Lucy’s swimming lessons are done, by the way), would help give me a kick start into losing some of this weight. I feel like I have so far to go. I need to just take it five pounds at a time rather than looking at it as a whole.

I REALLY want to redo the lighting in our bathroom. Right now, we just have plain round lights above our sink, and I think it just looks really tacky. I love the bathroom Maxim lighting. My favorite is the “vanity” light. On a different note, I like a lot of Maxim’s lamps. I think a couple of them would look really nice on the buffet table I plan to get for our living room.
