Birthdays, Birthdays and More Birthdays!

We have a weekend full of birthday celebrations coming up.

Saturday is Joe’s birthday, so we’ll be heading to my parents’ house to celebrate with my family. That night, Lucy and I are taking him out for a birthday dinner.

On Sunday, we’re heading to the other side of Atlanta for Rivka’s first birthday party. I can’t wait to see what Rachel has planned. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. While we’re there, we’ll also be celebrating Joe, Rachel and my MIL’s birthdays (Rivka’s birthday was Tuesday, Rachel’s birthday is today and MIL’s is next Tuesday).

Seriously, there are a LOT of birthdays in a very short time on Joe’s side of the family. I’ve already told Rachel that her next baby needs to be born in the spring!

Fall Fashion Clearance

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Liz Claiborne New York Outlets. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love looking at the new fashions in magazines and online. Sure, some of them are definitely not my style, but others are, and I find myself dreaming of the day when I will be able to wear cute clothes again. Hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later. I love the cute, form fitting sweaters, and pairing those with cute skirts and knee high boots. That’s definitely my kind of fall fashion!

Of course, a lot of the fashions are way out of my price range, as I’m sure they are for a lot of people. I definitely cannot afford to dress the way that celebrities and other famous people do. But, guess what! Liz Claiborne New York Outlets are selling all their inventory at discounts of 40-70 percent! That’s my kind of deal, as I never pay full price for clothes. 🙂

Lucky for me, we have a Liz Claiborne New York Outlet store at an outlet mall fairly close to our house. I love shopping there, and I’ll definitely be hitting up the stores this fall for clothes for me and Lucy.

So, what about you? What’s your favorite fall outfit? If you could buy any of the fall fashions this year, what would you get?

It’s Time to Party!

Lucy went to her first birthday party last weekend. Two of the moms in my moms group threw a party for their daughters, whose birthdays are very close together. It was a dinosaur theme, and it was a lot of fun. Even Lucy, who can’t really do much, had a lot of fun.

When we got there, Joe helped Lucy make dinosaur footprints.

Then, she did some dinosaur rubbings. Now, Mommy and Daddy have some artwork to hang up at work!

She also got a dinosaur puppet (made by the mom of one of the birthday girls) and a dinosaur mask, but I didn’t get pictures of those. I also wish I had gotten a picture of the AWESOME dinosaur cake that Sara made. Seriously, it was amazing.

After all of the fun, Lucy had to take a break to walk around the pavillion.

It was the first of many birthday parties that Lucy will attend, and I’m glad she had so much fun!
