The winner of the Kroger gift card is…..

kroger gift card winner

Carol W.! I’ll be getting in touch with you to get your contact information. Make sure you all remember to keep checking Kroger’s site every day for its free item! I won a free 2 liter of Pepsi Max last week!

I’m getting ready to enjoy a lazy day at home with my family. I love Sundays!

I’ve always thought it would be fun to try one of those event planning jobs. I love planning things, and I always thought I would make a good party planner or wedding planner. It seems like it would be hard to break into that field, though. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to get my name out there, among other things. Oh well. Wishful thinking!

Awesome Movie Ticket Deal

There is a GREAT deal on LivingSocial today for pretty much every city — a voucher for two movie tickets for $9! That’s basically the cost of ONE ticket, so this is awesome. I definitely couldn’t pass it up. With the cost of movies these days, we hardly go because it costs, what, around $30 or more with tickets and concessions. If you want to take advantage of this great deal, check it out here.

Weekly Totals — 02/25/11

I’m a little late posting this, but I think it’s still worth posting because last week was a great week! I spent $17.34 for $162.96 worth of groceries, which is a savings of 90 percent! You can see my full spreadsheet here.

Win a Kroger Gift Card!

There is a great sale going on at the Kroger family of stores right now. From now through March 12, Kroger is having a big Cart Buster Savings Event that includes more than 35 brands in 60 categories, including Multi-grain Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cascadian Farms, Tide, Coffee-Mate and Edy’s. Kroger has a promotion going online, as well. From now through March 12, a free product will be listed every day, and you can snag it to add to your Kroger Plus Card until it runs out each day. Products are listed between 12-6 p.m. So far, I haven’t been able to get any of them, but they have had some great products like Tide laundry detergent, Coffee-Mate creamer and Green Giant vegetables. You can access the promotion here.
