I wonder quite often if the economy will ever rebound and, if so, when that will happen. At the end of last year, unemployment in my stat was lower than the year before, which is a good sign. But, there are so many people still out of work who are searching for anything they can find, whether it be sears jobs or fast food. I hope things get better soon.

I’ve been having a ton of back pain lately. It usually pops up when I’m working around the house, so after about 5-10 minutes or so of housework, I have to sit down until my back hurts. I wonder if I should see someone about it. I know I won’t need anything like Spine surgery Dallas, but if there is anyway to alleviate the pain, I’d be all for it.

I try not to let having rheumatoid arthritis get the best of me, but sometimes I really miss some of the things I used to do, such as camping and backpacking. I’d love to buy things like a kelty backpack because I have the ability to use it. Oh well. Hopefully, that will be something that Lucy can get into and she won’t have anything holding her back.

I’ve heard about programs to get girls into programs that are geared more toward males, such as welding. In my mind, that’s more of a male field, and it’s not something I’d be interested in. I mean, can you picture me with welding supplies?? But, to each her own, and if that interests some girls, then these programs would definitely be something to look into.

There’s nothing more frustrating than being in the midst of preparing a meal and realizing you don’t have enough of an ingredient. I admit, that has happened to me once or twice.

Well, Publix is starting a new event this week aimed at helping shoppers stock up on what they need and love so that they won’t be caught unprepared. The Running Out? Running In runs from Feb. 9-14 and includes savings on a variety products from brands like General Mills and Procter & Gamble. And, make sure you check your store for a coupon sheet with $14 in savings. There also is a rebate for a $5 Publix gift card when you spend $30 on participating products from Feb. 8-25.

General Mills and MyBlogSpark have teamed up to give one of my readers a $25 Publix gift card. Enter using the widget below. I do verify all entries. Good luck!
