  • I really need some fat burner pills. I think some of those, along with my diet and exercise (which I really need to get back into now that Lucy's swimming lessons are done, by the way), would help give me a kick start into losing some of this weight. I feel like I have so far to go. I need to just take it five pounds at a time rather than looking at it as a whole.

I am addicted to the shows on Discovery Health during Baby Week. I love watching the births, and get I get teary and imagine the day when our baby will be born. It makes me really want December to roll around quickly!

Another show on this week is called “The Baby Lab”, and it’s about couples going through IVF. I’m really enjoying it because, even though some of these women don’t get their BFP’s, I know what they’re going through. And, it’s neat to see the behind-the-scenes in the lab and be able to watch the embryologists fertilize the eggs by injecting the sperm. It’s neat to see what happened to create our embryos.

I can tell it’s going to be an all baby week at our house!

I remember feeling the same way when I was pregnant with Lucas and would watch those shows or read other people’s birth stories. I kept imagining what it would feel like to give birth and to go through the whole process!

My roommates and I used to be addicted to The Baby Story in college. We’d all scream along with the women. Haha.

Funny, as a non-pregnant gal those shows kind of freak me out!

awe I hate those shows! I hate seeing new born babies, makes me want to throw up haha. Thats jsut me though, in our anti natal classes for bubs #1 I refused to show up while she played the videos or women giving birth or breastfeeding! She was smart enough though to pre warn us all and do it 15 minutes before class started.
Its like I know its going to be painful, I dont see why watching a movie on it will help me.
