I’m on a mission now to start stockpiling items to give as gifts. I tend to do all my shopping at the last minute, whether it’s right before a birthday or in the last few weeks before Christmas and Hannukah.
This year, I’m picking up things as I see them at great prices throughout the year. I shop both in stores and online at some of my favorite sites, like Redenvelope.com. I’ve got a pretty good gift stockpile right now, and I’m hoping to continue to increase it. My goal is to get to the point where I go “shopping” in my stockpile when holidays and birthdays roll around.
How about you? Do you wait until the last minute for gift shopping, too?
In Shopping

I usually start shopping in September. I start making lists toward the second half of the year, but a lot of it will depend on what people need as the holidays get closer. 🙂
My old roommate used to work for redenvelope & I’d get to go to the sample sales at their offices. We still have stock piles of gifts from them! Love em!!
This must be the week for redesigning the blogs! Yours is the third one I’ve looked at tonight that’s different. 🙂
I don’t usually buy gifts too far in advance. I’d probably forget I had them if I did. lol!
I have a nice stockpile too. By the time Christmas roles around, I am pretty much done since I have been “shopping” all year round. There are so many fantastic deals (sales, clearance, ect) throughout the year, why wait and fight the crowds?
