I’ve been at a loss at what to do with Lucy’s headbands. I can pile them on her dresser (as I’ve been doing) or put them in a basket. That’s the extent of the options I’ve come up with.
Until now. My husband had a brilliant idea for a DIY headband holder, and it was probably the easiest project ever. Seriously. A couple coats of paint, some ribbons and you’re done. It’s that simple.
We got a letter holder from Hobby Lobby (on sale for $6 — the total cost for this project).
We sprayed on one coat of primer, and then sprayed on pink paint. I tied ribbons to the ends to make it look cuter. The ribbons and paint we already had on hand, so this was a super frugal project, and it turned out great!
I haven’t decided yet whether I’m going to hang this on the wall (possibly by her bow holder) or stand it up on her dresser. That’s one thing I really love about this project — it’s so versatile. Love it!

I was having the same problem. I came up with a fairy hook- added about 4ft of pink and brown, thick textured, ribbon to that so all of her bows clip to the ribbon which hangs down and headbands can be hung off the hook! Works great!
That’s a great idea, too! I thought about hanging something off her bow hanger, but decided against it. I think it would have been too thin in the long run for her headbands anyway.
Normally I do not read article on blogs, but
I would like to say that this write-up very forced me to try and do
so! Your writing style has been amazed me.
Thanks, very nice post.
