i missed my period this month, but two tests say i’m not pregnant.
the hypochondriac in me instantly thinks that i’m not ovulating and therefore am not fertile and will never be able to have a baby.
someone please reassure me!

Wow! Have you ever missed your period before for some reason? I’m thinking that with the way that you’ve been feeling lately (crappy), you might just be … although yes, please go visit your doctor and make sure about what’s going on. That will ease your mind. Maybe you’re just testing too early?!? Oh, I *so* hope that you are!!! BTW, love this new layout!
It’s easy to have a false negative this early in the game.
I worry about the same thing. In fact, I could’ve written this blog myself in the future. I worry about the exact same things and I am not even married yet (talk about premature).
I have had an ongoing fear since childhood that I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant. Even saying it out loud makes it feel like a jinx. I went so far as to have fertility tests done last year. Nothing the doctor said could reassure me. Nothing! The only reassuring thing is knowing you’re pregnant. Anyone who has gotten pregnant with ease can not understand the insanity this causes.
Give it another day or two and test again!
Go to the doctor. Talk about tracking ovulation and tests thereof.

I have told you before that my girl friend NEVER tested possitive and her 2 year old proves she was pregnant! My fingers are crossed for you!
do you know when you think you ovulated this month? how late are you? false negatives can be common early on, but i doubt it if you’re more than a few days late?
Take a blood test, see your doctor. Jacqueline had negatives even with a blood test until she was 8 weeks!
