thank you cards or emails

there are several people who have donated money in my name for the upcoming arthritis walk. i want to thank them, but i can’t decide if i should send thank you cards or emails. thank you cards are kind of a lost art these days with the internet, but i don’t want to seem too corny. what do you all think?

I do not think thank you cards are corny. I think they are always appreciated, especially now when people don’t send them as often. I still send them & people always comment on how much they appeciate them.

Definitely send thank you cards. I agree with Christy, they are definitely appreciated. I always send them for everything. That reminds me, I need to send one out to my aunt today!

I absolutely belive in thank you cards. I send them for everything. People love receiving things in the mail that *aren’t* bills and it is the ultimate sign of class. It IS a lost art and I can tell you from firsthand experience that it is an emotionally charged thing to receive even the simplest note.

  4. Like you said- Thank You cards are a lost art… I would make them… esp if they are hand made …
