last night was so nice. joe was napping when i got home from work, so i started making dinner. i haven’t cooked in a while (joe normally does since he gets home before me), so i really enjoyed it. my phone rang as i was peeling potatoes, and it was joe trying to find me. i thought i had made enough noise getting my pots out to wake the dead! last night we had mashed potatoes, corn, baked chicken (for joe) and apple pie. i haven’t made a pie in a while. i think joe was impressed. 🙂
while we were eating, we watched the season premiere of gilmore girls. it was pretty good. i’m so sad about luke and lorelei breaking up though. after that, we watched the braves smash the mets 12-0. then we got to enjoy some quality time together. that was really nice. 😉 definitely one of my favorite nights. and tonight, my hubby is taking me out to dinner. yay!

I have a bad feeling about Gilmore Girls this year. Luke and Lorelei breakign up and Logan being overseas is going to make for a boring season for Rory…I’m not happy.
