I got to talk to my brother on Skype today for the first time in about a week or so. We chat every couple of days on instant messenger, but that’s not the same as being able to actually talk to him and hear him talk. I turned my video off since I had just gotten up, but they had theirs on, so I could see them. Oriona showed me the invitations she’s making for Harry’s first birthday party, which made me even more sad that we’re missing that. It’s such a big milestone in his life, and I wish we were going to be there for it. At least she and Harry will be back for a two-week visit a couple of days after his birthday. Joe is going to take his one year pictures for them. I can’t wait to see them, and I wish Ryan was going to be able to come too. Two week is going to be a long time for him to be apart from them.
