Food trucks are a new trend here in Atlanta, and a Food Truck Park recently opened. Every time we would drive through Atlanta, we would see it and talk about how we wanted to try it out.

A couple of weeks ago, we got our chance! Joe surprised me by taking a day off work and planning a trip to the Food Truck Park for lunch! He had checked out the park’s website beforehand and discovered that they had a good selection of vegetarian foods for me. I was so excited!

It was fun wandering around, trying to decide what we wanted to eat. There really was a good vegetarian selection (including one completely vegan truck), and I ended up with a burrito bowl.

Joe had a crab cake sandwich.

And, Lucy got peanut butter and jelly.

We managed to find an empty bench where we could eat. It was pretty busy, especially considering we had arrived fairly early.

For dessert, we got cupcakes! Yum! It was such a fun trip, and we can’t wait to go back and try new menu items!
