Wow. I did a TON of shopping this week. I made a bunch of trips to Publix since relatives printed off several sets of coupons for me. There were so many free or cheap deals this week, especially on the Beech-Nut Fruities, which are Lucy’s favorite thing EVER.
All the Publix stores near me were sold out of the Fruities within an hour of opening on the first day of the ad this week, but they got trucks in last night and had just enough left for me today. I ended up going to two stores because I don’t like to clear shelves. And, thanks to my parents and in-laws printing coupons for me, I had a ton. Woo hoo! Side note: Has anyone tried the Rudi’s Gluten-Free bread before? Is it good?
Here’s what I got this week:
Tony’s Pizza = $1.99
Suave Deodorant x 2 = $0.76 (I didn’t realize they didn’t give me it for free despite my $1 coupons on my first trip) ($4.28)
Rosarita Refried Beans x 2 = $1.50
Kroger Tortilla Chips x 2 = $2
Kroger Frozen Vegetables x 4 = $4
Angel Soft Toilet Paper x 4 = $2
Kroger Pantiliners = $1
Kroger Kidney Beans x 2 = $1.38
Purina One Cat Food x 2 = $0.08
Fritos = $2.50
Ocean Spray Grapefruit Juice x 4 = -$2.02
Grapefruit 5 lb. Bags x 2 = $0
Publix Pull Ups = $8.99
Opti-Free Express Contact Solution = $4.73
Beech-Nut Fruities x 18 = -$9.84
Lindsay Spanish Olives x 4 = -$0.02
Publix Kidney Beans x 2 = $1.78
Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes = $0.99
McCormick Chili Seasoning x 2 = $1.29
Pepperidge Farm Garlic Bread x 4 = $1.78
Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bread x 2 = -$0.01
So, this week, I spent $24.88 for a TON of stuff. I’ve managed to stay under my goal of $40 a week so far this year, and I hope that continues, at least for a while. I’m sure there will be weeks when I will spend more, but I’m hoping it will all average out, and I’ll be on track in the end.
How did you do this week?
