Yesterday was my post-op appointment. I always have mixed feelings about this because, while it is nice to be able to breathe and blow my nose again, it is a pretty painful procedure. I mean, having a metal instrument stuck up your nose to yank things out is just as much fun as it sounds. I made it through, though. My eyes watered up, and I had to clench my fists, but I didn’t actually cry during it, which I was pretty proud of. My doctor and I joked around a good bit, which made it a bit easier....
