no one speaks english. seriously, are our call centers in india? every customer service person i talk to for any company is indian. i spoke to two people today trying to get my printer to work with our stupid new computer, and neither of them could understand anything i said.
“please spell your first name for me.”
“c-a-d-y.”
“can you please spell that again? i can’t understand.”
“c-a-d-y.”
“ok, so i have t-a-b-y.”
sigh.
oh, and for the record, apparantly customer service now CHARGES you to receive customer service. this is crap.

taby…hehehehe…
Yes, most technical support centers are in India. Dell’s “gold” corporate support is in the United States, but you pay out the patoot for it.
Those companies really should budget for customer service. When they are in an industry where people frequently need customer service, I can’t believe how crappy that service is.
Glad the CT scan went okay. Hope the results come back okay.
Even the Aussie companies are out-sourcing to India too. It’s very frustrating.
I typed at customer service today, and each response took a minute or two for them to come back with. ergh.
