joe probably will kill me for posting this, but it’s too funny not to. this is a conversation we had this morning.
me: my calves are too big.
joe: yeah they are, but they’re not as big as they were! (insert long pause here) wait, did i say the wrong thing?
i know he didn’t mean it like that, but it’s too funny not to give him a hard time about!

It’s hard to be a boy! I have gotten much fitter since meeting AS, so he’s always walking the fine line between complimenting my hard work and insulting my old figure!

Ha, poor guys – it’s one of those lose/lose situations. But at least he’s honest. 😉

I know what you mean, boys don’t think of things the way we do, therefore they come out of their mouths differently. I’ll never forget the time we were at church talking to a pregnant friend of ours. Someone asked her when she was due, and it was a good month or two from that point, and Jason said “Wow, I didn’t know you could get any bigger.” He really didn’t mean it negatively, but that’s the way it came out, lol.

I tease B all the time b/c he’ll say something like, “you are so skinny,” or something like that and I’ll say, what, I wasn’t skinny before (knowing I wasn’t) and he totally hates it. Oh well!

I love catching Greg saying things like this. I start smiling half way through his statement, like ‘you are SO about to stick your foot in your mouth!’ I don’t mind though, he’s no beauty queen either! 🙂
