i have to stop weighing myself twice a day. tonight, the scale said i am up 3 pounds from this morning and even though i know that isn’t possible considering i’ve only eaten 400 calories up to now today, it still depresses me. i know it’s got to be daily fluctuations, but the weird thing is that instead of being lower in the morning, as it is for most people, my weight is typically the same as it was the night before. odd, right? i’m sure you all are tired of this topic, but this is my place to vent. it helps to get things out sometimes.

400 Calories!?!?!
Seriously?
Wow.

That happens to me sometimes too, that my weight does not go down overnight and then I get MAD. And while I subscribe to the theory that weighing myself every day helps me stick to Weight Watchers, I totally understand why WW asks you to weigh yourself only once a week. They are trying to avoid scale obsessions like ours.
Also, why only 400 calories? That is not good for you.

I would only weigh yourself once a week or you will go crazy! But at each meal you should have at least 200 calories… with at least 100 calorie snacks twice a day… because you really shouldn’t go below 800 calories… and if you are working out you shouldnt go below 1000… other wise your body thinks it is starving and will star saving fat… and you should drink about 6 glasses of water or sugar free stuff… but I just learned that carbonated drinks streaches your stomach out which lets you eat more… but are you getting in enough protein also?
