until my birthday. i have mixed feelings about turning 28. it puts me in my late-20s and that much closer to 30. i’m still looking forward to “my” day (and the cards that are already starting to arrive), but i’m not thrilled about getting older any more. anyone else feel this way?
In Life

I felt the same way in Sept when I turned 28. It’s so not old though. Just remember that people in their 30’s always lie & say they are 29. I figure that they must think 29 is still young then. We’re not even there yet.
Besides, with each passing year we get more knowledgable.
Have a happy birthday!!!
You’re not old honey. Andy Rooney is old. And cranky. You’re young, pretty and sweet.
while I just turned 27…I still love my birthday and don’t feel old…but that’s me!
Plus, won’t this be an important day for other reasons?? Either way, don’t let anything crap you out on your birthday. Mine is December, and believe you me, there is nothing worse than a December birthday! I’ll cross my fingers there’s no torrential downpour or anything so you and Joe can have a fun day. 🙂
OK, try turning 31. I don’t wanna hear it.
Sheesh. 😉
Well considering I turned 30 this year I have to say I don’t agree.
I LOVE birthdays. And the older I get, the more I love them.
Age is only a state of mind. It’s all in your attitude.
Well, they always say “It’s better than the alternative”. 🙂
Speaking as someone who has been 28 for eight months, it’s not so bad….but I’m not looking forward to the upcoming last year of my 20s!
I have started counting backwards.
Weirdly, last year AS turned 30 and I turned 26 and I was WAY more anxious about my bday than he was about his! (It’s different for guys.)
This year I am not as worried. With grad school coming up, my life is pretty planned out until I turn 29, so there is less reason to worry about my age or what I’ve accomplished.
