well, that was a bust. i had one *large* remaining cyst (seriously, it looked big enough to be an ovary), so they will not let me go forward with clomid this month. they say clomid exacerbates the cysts, which can be dangerous for me. so, i’m on birth control for the next month with the hopes that it will clear up. how ironic, huh? i’m desperately trying to get pregnant and back on birth control. joe made the decision to use the bc because the doctor said there was only an 80 percent chance it would clear up on its own. we’ve wasted the last two months now, and i’m just *so* ready to start trying again.

it seems like every time we go we don’t get *horrible* news but we don’t get good news. 10 eggs? remaining cyst? not horrible, but to me, it’s bad news when we have to keep putting everything off. so much for positive thinking, huh? it sure doesn’t seem to be getting me anywhere.

i thought we’d be the only ones there today, but there were five other women, most of whom brought their husbands. i’m a big people watcher, and i’m always curious as to why other people are there. is that weird? i guess i’d feel better hearing their stories too. i don’t know. at any rate, i did a lot of people watching today!

we ended up coming home and crashing, since we were up at 6 a.m. it seems like such a wasted trip, but i just keep hoping that one of these days i’ll have some good news and it won’t feel like i’m continuously treading ground, getting no further to becoming a mother.
