I had yet another great visit today at my RE’s office. In fact, the woman who did my u/s said, “You’re going to a *pleasure* to do a retrieval on.” I was pretty darn proud about that.

My estrogen level is 479, which my IVF coordinator said is perfect, and I have more than 10 follicles on both ovaries. They are all 6-8 mm, but they’re all the same size, which I was told is fantastic. A lot of times, a couple will grow much faster than the others, which means you have fewer mature for retrieval. Hopefully mine will continue to grow together so they can all be retrieved.

Everything is going just perfectly. It makes me hopeful, but I also wonder in the back of my mind if things can continue to go this well. I hope so! I was told today that I will have to go in every day now until my retrieval. I was expecting that, but I was really hoping for every other day. But, if it means getting my baby in the end, I’ll drive down there as often as they want.
