i really feel like i had no weekend since i had to work both saturday and sunday (it will be 12 days in a row by the time next saturday rolls around. sigh.). after i left saturday, i went home for a little bit before we had to head out to meet up with my brothers, my sister-in-law and randy’s girlfriend. they were on their way to see cats at the fox theatre in atlanta, so they stopped here on their way to have dinner with us at chilis. it was fun and nice to get to know randy’s girlfriend a little bit better. i think we bonded a bit over our knowledge that “jimmies” is another word for “sprinkles”. no one else knew that. 🙂
after dinner, we hit blockbuster. we wanted to rent indecent proposal, because i have never seen that but want to. it wasn’t there, so we rented the nannie diaries. i hadn’t read the book (but i am now), so we didn’t know what to expect. we thought it would be a comedy, but it wasn’t. i’m still deciding if i liked it or not. 🙂
yesterday was nice and relaxing. we did some chores around the house, napped, and watched football and the amazing race. it was a nice night. i’m ready for next weekend, now, when i can actually relax.

I didn’t know jimmies were sprinkles either. But I do believe sprinkles make things taste better. 🙂
I call them Jimmies and Pete laughs at me each time!
That sucks that you had to work over the weekend!
Jimmies??? You people are crazy! LOL
I’ve heard jimmies was mainly a new england thing. I use both…
I saw the preview for the movie and thought they took ALOT of dramatic license because from the preview it looked like a romantic comedy.
The book is far from that. Fair warning – I actually cried at the end…it so bummed me out.
