  • I really need some fat burner pills. I think some of those, along with my diet and exercise (which I really need to get back into now that Lucy's swimming lessons are done, by the way), would help give me a kick start into losing some of this weight. I feel like I have so far to go. I need to just take it five pounds at a time rather than looking at it as a whole.

I was going to tell you all about our fabulous Christmas today.

Instead, I’m going to tell you about how I fell down a mountain. Joe and I decided to go hiking up Pine Mountain after hitting the after Christmas sales this morning. We made it up in record time and then started the decent back down. We got about 0.2 miles from the summit when I tripped over a root and took a dive. I rolled my ankle, skinned up my knee (and ripped my brand new workout pants. sniff!) and hurt my hand. We tried to get down the mountain, but didn’t make it too far. It was just too painful. We were about to call 911 and have an ambulance bring a stretcher when two guys came walking up and helped Joe carry me down. We started with a chair carry and then switched to the three guys taking turns giving me piggy back rides.

We spent the rest of the afternoon waiting at the Urgent Care office for xrays. Nothing is broken, but I’ve got a bad sprain and doctor’s orders to stay off it this weekend. I guess that means *Joe* will be doing all the cleaning!

Yikes, Cady! I think you need some good hiking boots! That’ll keep those ankles safe. -)

OH CADY!! Poor girl! I hate that for you – and it is totally something I would have done – that stinks you tore your pants….feel better!

I have done that to my ankle so many times it isn’t even funny… I hope you heal fast… but take your time with it… bad sprains can take up 6 months to full heal… hugs!

Hmmm, do you think you can get him to do the cooking and laundry too? LOL. I hope it’s feeling better soon.

Ouch, glad nothing was broken. Just make sure you rest it before you start using it again. Just let Joe pamper you a bit )

I’d throw myself down a mountain if it meant my husband did the cleaning for a week! Haha.

Hope you’re healing and taking it easy!
