I thought I had the whole morning sickness thing down. Every day it’s hit around 10 a.m. and lasted for a couple of hours, vanishing by early afternoon. And, it’s been light…nothing a few saltines and a can of ginger ale can’t handle.
I guess Baby thinks he/she has been too nice to me. Today, it started up around 8 a.m., while I was in the shower. And boy, was it bad. But, as I joked to Joe, there’s not much of a better place to throw up. I got so nauseous and dizzy that I had to hurry through and get back in bed for an hour, where I nibbled on crackers and sipped my ginger ale, until I had to get ready for work.
And, today it lasted until, oh, around 1 p.m. or so. Hooray. On the bright side, if it subsides by at least 1 p.m., I’ll be fine since it won’t affect me at work. That would be nice. I would much rather feel miserable at home where I can climb into bed or collapse on the couch.
So, really? Six more weeks of this?? Come on Baby, give your Mama a break!
Ugh. I’m sorry. 🙁 Never thrown up in the shower before ~ but yeah, I can imagine that it would be a good place (minimal cleanup, LOL!). I just can’t believe that you’re pregnant. So excited!!!
lisanne – i didn’t throw up, but i came close. i kind of wish i had been able to…maybe it would make me feel better. 🙂 but, if it means my little one is growing i’ll take it. 🙂 it’s definitely worth it.
Toast also works…. well what my friends say… I never had morning sickness… but my energy levels and the dizzy spells have been way worse this time… I never had an issue with dizzy spells when I was pregnant with Lore… but this time… omg… I have nearly passed out twice… complete blackout… freaks me out!

I\’ve had morning sickness (which is actually better named all day sickness) for this whole pregnancy. First trimester was the worst, second trimester it slacked off a little bit, then it got bad again almost as soon as I could see the third trimester. Did the throwing up in the shower bit, and the having to pull over to the side of the road while driving. No fun. I\’ve been on Phenegren the whole time. I did find that hard lemon candies help some too, as do peppermints.
