I am SO FREAKING EXCITED about planning Lucy’s first birthday party. I can’t believe we only have a little more than a month to go!

I’ve been thinking of ideas for the party for a few months, but now it’s time to get in gear with the planning. This past weekend, Joe designed her invite. I LOVE it. Seriously, it is the coolest one I’ve seen (not that I’m at all biased!). The white blocks are where I removed the address and contact info. 🙂

When I showed it to Lucy, she smiled REALLY big when she saw Tigger. The girl is going to PASS OUT when she sees all the other Tigger items I have planned!

I’m thinking about ordering this banner off Etsy. It doesn’t say “Happy Birthday”, but I love it. I can probably get an orange or black “Happy Birthday” banner from a party store to hang above this.

One of our coworkers is making Lucy an awesome Tigger-shaped cake. Joe saw a picture of it in one of her books, and he says I’ll love it. I can’t wait to see it! In addition to the cake, I’m going to make chocolate cupcakes, and I’m making Tigger cupcake toppers. At least, I’m PLANNING on making them. Hopefully, I’ll have enough time!

I have some other really cool things planned, but I’m probably not going to talk about those until after the party. As sad as I am about Lucy turning 1, I’m super excited about throwing her big party. It’s going to be a huge bash!
