Ok, so there weren’t lions and bears, but we certainly saw tigers and elephants last weekend.

We surprised Lucy and took her to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in Atlanta. Lucy is obsessed with elephants and since Joe had the opportunity to get tickets, we jumped at the chance to take her.

Before the circus began, they opened up the floor and people could go down to watch the jugglers and trapeze artists. There were also clowns. Lucy was enthralled.

Lucy wasn’t 100 percent sure about the clown.

Our seats were about 16 rows back, which was awesome. I was a little worried about how she would do since she has a short attention span and we were out way past her bed time, but Lucy was enthralled the whole time. I was proud of her!

These Tongan warriors were insanely strong. Joe and I were blown away.

As I said before, Lucy was obsessed with elephants, so that was obviously her favorite part. She couldn’t get enough.

I loved the Tigers.

Lucy also had her first cotton candy. She wasn’t quite sure of it. It came with a hat that she also wasn’t sure of.

Every time we talk about the circus or Lucy sees pictures from it, she asks to go back. I guess we’ll probably take her the next time it’s in town!
