i’m feeling much, much better, healthwise. i think my mom might have passed on the bug my dad had during our mother-daughter day on sunday. that’s the only explanation i can think of! she’s lucky enough to be immune to most bugs since she’s a nurse. that must be nice. after a day of resting and watching tv, i am back to my old self.
however, my legs are still recovering from my workout on monday at the gym i’m considering joining. i only did 33 minutes of cardio, but the wave machine, which is a cross between a stairclimber and an elliptical, really wore me out. it was a good thing i was sick yesterday because i could barely walk! haha. today i did a light cardio workout in addition to my weights, and hopefully i’ll be back to my full workout tomorrow. i hate days that i can’t do cardio because i feel like i’m just ballooning.

I’m glad to hear you are feeling better. Sounds like whatever you had wasn’t the lingering kind. Take it easy still thought in case you have a relapse. In fact, tell Joe that the sight of dirty dishes makes you queazy and that vacuuming makes you feel light headed. yeah yeah do that! lol

Taking one or two rest days every week is good for your cardio! I know sometimes you feel like a slug on rest days, but those are actually the days when your muscles repair themselves and make you stronger!
