the bedding i want from pottery barn is now on sale. i really want to get it before it runs out of stock (i think it’s being discontinued), but i’m wondering if, since it’s a duvet cover, it will be the same size as my comforter now or if it will be the same size as my down comforter, which is shorter. do any of you know?

If your down comforter is a queen, the duvet in queen should fit over the comforter. PotteryBarn is a pretty reputable store so, even if it didn’t work, they should take it back.

This is one of those posts that will never, ever appear on my blog.
I’m still not sure what a duvet is, but you’ve convinced me that we need one.
Should we get two just in case we have a duvet emergency?
I have no idea, but I’d say order it and if it doesn’t work, you can always return it.
In my experience the duvet is always a little bigger than the down comforter. But maybe that’s because I buy inexpensive down comforters that aren’t quite as puffy. . ?
In my experience any duvet cover that I have bought is bigger slightly then my comforter or duvet. Quiet annoying actually. So it should fit no matter what.
