One place I’ve wanted to visit but haven’t had a chance to yet is Memphis. You would think that I would have made it up there since my family has lived in Chattanooga, which isn’t *too* far away, for 16 years now. But, I haven’t. So, I think it’s time that the hubby and I take a kid-free trip up north.
Obviously, one of the places we would want to go see is Graceland. I’m not a huge Elvis fan, but you can’t go to Memphis and *not* go to Graceland.

I didn’t even have to check out a Memphis-savvy travel guide to come up with that! I also want to go to Beale Street. I’ve heard quite a bit about this area as part of Memphis night life, and it would be a fun night out on the town for me and the husband.
Now, you can enter to win a trip package to Memphis that includes one of four prize packages — family, couple, single, and single and friends. I’d like to win the couples package, which includes a carriage ride, trips to sun studios and the Orpheum Theater, accommodations at the Peabody Hotel and dinner at the Majestic Grille. I think it would be a fun weekend away.
Have any of you been to Memphis before? If so, what did you see? If not, do you want to go to Memphis and what would you want to see there? Are you going to try to win one of these prize packages, and if so, which one?

Oh, I’d LOVE to go to Memphis! How much fun 🙂 Although I bet I wouldn’t qualify since I’m from Hawai, booo.
I’m your newest follower by the way. Lucy is too cute!

Memphis is a fun place! I’ve been twice. We saw Beale Street & Graceland on the first trip. The 2nd time we were on our way through to New Orleans. We did Beale street, the Memphis Zoo and toured St. Jude (my husband was a former patient). I’m not really sure what else there is to do there, but it was a pretty good time!
that’s a good hourse. i want to go to memphis
