We have been working on the potty training in our house veeeeeeery sloooooooooowly. I am a little envious of the moms for whom it is so easy or happened so quickly. But, I’m kind of happy with how it’s going with Lucy because I feel that once she is potty trained she really will no longer be my baby. And, I know that when she really decides to go for it, it probably will go fast for her.
We really only use a few brands of diapers and training pants for Lucy because of sale prices and/or coupons. Diapers are too expensive to buy without coupons! I’ve never tried Seventh Generation products for that very reason, but I like the fact that they are free & clear products that are supposed to provide great overnight protection.
Want to try out Seventh Generation diapers? Here’s your chance! One of my readers will win a pack of Seventh Generation diapers and a copy of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. Please use the widget to enter, and remember that I do verify all entries. Good luck!
The product, information, and giveaway were provided by Seventh Generation through MyBlogSpark. I received the same gift pack as the winner for facilitating the giveaway.

A good piece of advice is to reward the toilet-using child with an M&M. Make sure it’s not a brown one, though, as that could be misconstrued as a piece of poo.

Sorry…just read what I was supposed to comment about. 🙂
No advice here except to wait until she is ready. That’s the approach I am taking anyway.

Definitely don’t rush it, it shouldn’t be a scary thing!

We haven’t started potty training yet, and we probably won’t start for a little while. The best advice I’ve heard is to wait until he’s ready and right now according to him, the potty’s only funtion is to flush away his trains and cars 🙂

I plan on waiting till my daughter seems ready to potty train and not force it on her

My daughter is only 3 months, so potty training is awhile away still. I plan on waiting for her to give me cues that she is ready.

No real tips since Alexa is 3 now and not yet fully potty trained. With Ava, she just one day did it. Id love to hear others tips.
