i could hear the scratching sound of aj out in the hall trying to catch an imaginary bug (actually a mark on the wall). i started to receive a fax, and there was a great crashing noise as aj bounded in, jumped up on the desk and took his spot next to the fax. i know he was thinking, “did i miss it? did i miss it?” for some reason aj is glued to things that move and make noise: the fax, the printer and the toilet to name a few.
