aj had his stitches taken out yesterday, about a week earlier than the vet had planned. he had managed to pull out about eight of his ten stitches before we realized it. hence the cone. sigh.

before i left the vet’s office yesterday, the technician told me to keep the cone on him for three more days and to keep him quiet. how exactly do you keep a 1 1/2 year old cat quiet? especially when he has two brothers! we put up their toys (which made julius mad) and we’ve been trying to keep him calm, but he keeps wrestling around with the other cats and just being his usual, hyper self. i just hope his incision heals well.
