joe and i are starting the house buying process. we are meeting with our realtor tomorrow, and we have an appointment wednesday night to see a house for sale close to where we live now. i don’t think it’s going to be right for us. it only has three bedrooms, and it’s one story with no basement. if we bought that house, we’d be buying again in another couple of years because there’s no room for growth. we’d have room for just one child. we also wouldn’t be able to move our things out of our storage unit, which we really would like to do to save some money.
it’s exciting to be going to see a house though. it makes this all more real!

Buying is definitely the way to go! We rented for eight months after we married and even though we bought a townhouse that we knew we wouldn’t be in for the long run, we still made a ton of money in equity for our next house. Good luck with the house hunt!
I hope it goes well! I hated the process and I’m still resentful of all the work our house is, but I think you will appreciate it more than I do!
Homeownership is like so grown-up…I’m jealous…Good luck you two. I hope it all goes well, and that you fond your House O’ Dreams.
Exciting!! House shopping is so FUN, enjoy it! Hope to hear all about your search 🙂
I agree – home-buying is fun, although a bit scary! Good luck!
