the dinner of honor last night was nice. it’s held every year at the crowne plaza hotel atlanta perimeter at ravinia, which is a *really* nice hotel. we arrived about an hour and a half early to help set up. i have a story to tell about that, which i’ll share later.
we mingled for about an hour and a half before dinner, and it was nice meeting more of joe’s co-workers and parents of students. they couldn’t say enough nice things about him, and told me what a wonderful job he does and how much they like and appreciate him. i was very proud of him.
i look like a cow *and* i can’t smile. what a combination!
