we had a nice, relaxing weekend. it was the first time in a while that we didn’t have somewhere to go. on saturday, we took our time getting up and then headed to my church. i haven’t been there in a long time because of trips to visit my family. the bad thing about my church is that it’s quite small, so everyone notices when someone’s not there. it was a good service beside the fact that the sermon was an hour long. yes, people, the sermon itself was longer than the rest of the service. it was a good sermon, but i’ll admit that my attention span only lasts so long.
on saturday night, we went to see fool’s gold. it started off kind of slow, but it turned out being really good. i enjoyed it, and even joe said it wasn’t terrible, which is a high compliment from him. i was surprised at how full the theater was. the poor people who came in after us had to sit in the very front.
yesterday, i had to work, and we decided against our park workout because the skies were dark and threatened rain. we hadn’t gotten a lot of sleep the night before, so we took a *long* nap, and while we were sleeping the storm rolled in. and what a storm it was. it resembled a monsoon and sent one scared, orange cat under the bed to cower. the rain was needed, although maybe not in such a hard downpour.
last night we relaxed and watched tv — a great way to end the weekend.

We love to sit in the very front…Usually the 2nd Row! LOL
I hate walking into a movie and being forced to sit up front. I like to sit right in the middle. Fool’s Gold looks cute. I have no idea what it’s about, but I’m a pretty big Matthew McConaughey fan.
Thanks for posting about this, I was wondering about that movie. 🙂 Glad you guys had a good time! Sounds like you had a good weekend!
