i found out today that my fabulous cousin emily is engaged! it happened last week, and i’m still waiting to hear the details (hint, hint!).

emily and i used to be pretty close. when she lived in chicago and i lived in maryland, i’d visit her every summer. we’re only a year apart in age, so we had a blast together. (hey, em, remember those pics we had taken with candi and kelli the weekend of your 8th grade graduation?? my mom still has those up in the family room!)

needless to say, i am *so* excited for her, and i’m so glad to see her so happy! she’s tentatively planning a september wedding, and we’re sensing a tradition here of douglass grandkids getting married in september. randy, candi and kelli need to take note!
