holding your significant other’s hair up while she pukes her guts out for five hours. thanks honey. 🙂 as little sleep as i got, i know joe got less. and, he went out to the store at 3:30 a.m. to get ginger ale to settle my stomach. yep, he’s a keeper.
last night, or should i say early this morning, was probably the worst night of my life. i really don’t know what made me so sick, since i had just a veggie plate for dinner last night. my mom asked if i was pregnant. joe’s response: “does she think you’re going to throw up the baby?? tell her it doesn’t work that way.”
of course, that was the first thing joe’s intern asked when he told her how sick i was. i don’t know if anyone at my office thought that, but i’m sure my bringing a package of saltines and a bottle of ginger ale with me didn’t help the rumors. 🙂
being pregnant is really a long shot, and i really don’t think i am. although, it would make everything i went through worth it. i’ll just have to see if the sickness continues and if my period starts on thursday. for all you moms out there, is this what your morning sickness was like?

Love is…hearing your wife make this noise “Hur..hur..grrrrrowlfffff!” at four in the morning and still thinking she’s gorgeous.
That is the intresting topic , I can’t stop myself from laughing on the package of saltines and a bottle of ginger ale. This is really something very intresting and i hope this does’nt happen to you again.
Hm, I never had morning sickness so I can’t really say. It would be a nice surprise if it was though!
That would definitely make it worth it, right?? A few months ago I was the sickest I’ve been since I was a kid. I threw up every 15 minutes for like 8 hours. It was AWFUL. I hope you are feeling better now.
I never had morning sickness, either. Just a bit of nausea in the mornings here and there for a few weeks.
Oh God!!! I am SO sorry, Cady! Although I really do hope that it’s pregnancy causing it. Stuff like that totally SCARES the crap out of me. 🙁 I’ve been hearing about lots of people going through this lately. 🙁 No, I didn’t feel that way at ALL when I was pregnant either time ~ although I’ve known women who have been. I remember feeling a bit lightheaded when I woke up in the mornings and slightly nauseous … I nibbled on bagels and had a lot of other remedies that worked.
I never had morning sickness… just super tired… but didn’t know I was pregnant lol…
Only time I’m sick like that is when I get the stomach flu… BUT… a friend a church got so sick from her morning sickness she was put in the hospital for a week! She lost 30 pounds in 1 month… but umm she could of lost more if you know what I mean lol… she was close to what my past highest weight was…
What a great husband!
That IS love! Everyone experiences morning sickness in different ways. My sister threw up daily for the first 3 months. Me? Rolling waves of nausea, but no throwing up.
I hope for your sake it means good newws and then it would all be worth it huh?
I was never blessed with morning sickness, but I can tell you that my early symptoms were EXHAUSTION (ugh, soooo tired) and a higher body temperature. I totally thought I was fighting off a cold or flu, but that it hadn’t really hit yet, just threatening to hit. I called it the “Pansy Cold.”
