i covered a tree meeting today. and you know what i learned? that crapemyrtles are pretty much the hardiest trees you can plant. the arborist said that it’s pretty hard to kill a crapemyrtle. that made me feel better because we forgot to water it the last couple of days, and i thought it was going to die.
and that, my friends, is the something new i learned today.
They must be extremely hard to kill, b/c we have two gorgeous crape myrtles, and we’ve never once watered them.
Wow. And they’re *so* gorgeous, too. I wonder whether they’d grow nicely here in upstate New York? We should invest in a couple. We suck at gardening. LOL! 🙂
BTW, I thought about an idea for your domain name today as I was leaving Target. hehe 🙂 What about schulmanfamily.us or theschulmans.us? Kind of neat because “us” is a domain suffix and it looks like the word “us.” hehe 🙂
