Two weeks from today is our 2-year anniversary. I can’t believe we’ve already been married for two years. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun.
Last year, we spent the weekend at a really nice hotel in Atlanta, and we were planning another low-key celebration this year. Since we just went to New York City last month and are going to Cleveland, Ohio two weeks after our anniversary for Jon’s wedding, we were planning on spending the weekend in Suwanee, Georgia. What? You’ve never heard of it? Well, it happens to be one of the 10 best places to live.
At least that was the plan. Now, the bachelor party is scheduled for the Saturday night we were going to be gone since a couple of the groomsmen can’t go next weekend and the groom doesn’t want to have it the weekend before the wedding.
So, I told Joe to go ahead and host the party that weekend. I’m pretty bummed. I mean, really, celebrating your anniversary a month afterward kind of sucks. But, on the other hand, I don’t have to stress out so much about two trips in such a short time frame. That is a good thing. We’ll be able to relax a lot more when we go away in October. We’re thinking about spending a weekend at a bed and breakfast somewhere.
We’re still going to Suwanee that Saturday. There’s a scrapbooking workshop that I want to attend (and I’ll probably get my sil to go with me), then we’ll go see Rachel and Dave’s new house and probably all go out to Ledo’s for some of the best pizza in the world.
But I’m still bummed.

I am so so sorry honey. I really am. I hate it. I love you so much. We’ll still have a great anniversary. I promise.
That sucks! I’m sorry you’re bummed! But happy early anniversary anyway.
Also, the above comment is SO cute.
that is a bummer =( i’m sure it will be just as special when you two do finally get to celebrate together, though.
