It looks like my retrieval and transfer will be delayed a day.
Sigh.
This morning, everything seemed great when I had my u/s. The doctor told me that my retrieval likely would be Monday or Tuesday because I had several large follicles (14 mm) and others around 10 mm.
But, when my coordinator called me this afternoon, she said I had only 1 14 mm and 1 13.5 mm … the rest around 9-10 mm. Yesterday’s estrogen level was 633, and she had thought it would be above 1,000 today but it was only at 975.
So, I’m bummed. I feel like my perfect cycle is now becoming not-so-perfect. However, my coordinator says that everything still looks great and that, really, Monday would be my 10th day on Follistim anyway, which is how long most patients are on it. And, she said that she wishes all her patients responded as well as I am. Plus, I still have more than 10 follicles on each ovary, which is fantastic.
That makes me feel better. Plus, a Wednesday retrieval means a Saturday transfer, which means Joe and I wouldn’t have to take a day off work for it. Maybe things are working out for the best. I hope so. Please, tell me everything still sounds good and that I’m worried for nothing!

Everything still sounds great and you’re worried for nothing! 🙂
Love you honey.
We are on the exact same schedule, and you know what? My ER and ET got pushed back the exact same way yours did. I figure it can’t be a bad thing to let those follies hang out a little longer and grow. 🙂
That doesn’t sound like a bad thing…give them another day to grow!! 🙂
God wants you to reserve your vacation and sick time to enjoy your BABY!
it honestly sounds like things are still moving along wonderfully – I can understand why you’re disappointed but you’re still doing really well!
Keep remembering everything happens for a reason. Sounds like it’s going great so far, good luck!
It sounds like things are still going very well. I agree with what others above have said ~ it’s meant to be, and you will have more vacation time to be with your BABY! hehe 🙂 Good luck!
I guess “patience is a virtue” 🙂 Best to you!
Just take it all in stride. Things will work out!
