I have a dilemma. I have found another bedding set that I love, and now I’m torn as to which one to get for Lucy’s nursery. I do plan on purchasing a set because, although I do not plan on using the bumper (I’m getting a breathable bumper) and may not use the comforter at first, she will use the comforter as she gets older and the 11 other pieces in the set (diaper stacker, wall hangings, valance, etc) make it completely worth my money.
The first bedding:
And the new bedding:
I love the first because it’s so pink, but the second is much brighter and more colorful. I think I’m leaning toward that one, but I haven’t completely made up my mind. I also need to figure out what color to paint the walls if I choose that one. It’s hard to use pink or green because of the backgrounds of the border and wall hangings unless I choose very pale shades.
So now, tell me, which one do you like the best?

I love the second set of bedding. You could always paint the walls a light lavender.

I like the second one. It’s gorgeous. And I think the more subtle pink is actually nicer. That way you’re not forcing the color on her quite as much, you know?
Lisanne says
The second one! It’s gorgeous!!! I love brown and pink together, but I also adore pink and green together! That’s what Meri’s room is!
Laura says
I vote for the 2nd and would probably paint the walls a very pale lavender (since it is the least dominant color in the bedding), otherwise there will be too much of one color in the room. 🙂

Well, I think the choice will be simple once you decide what style you are going for. The 1st one is more modern and sophisticated while the second one is very country. Both are sweet and girly so there are no worries there! And, while the second one is more country it is also a bit more sophisticated and could potentially go further age-wise though by the time she is a big girl I can promise she’ll want to pick her own stuff! 😉

I like them both but for some reason I like the first one better. Which one does your DH like better??
Liz says
I’m partial to the second one, but I just love green, so I tend to always pick things with greens in them. Where are you finding these ardorable bedding sets?!!
Michele Lane says
Im with the crowd. The second one seems more girlie. very pretty.

I like the second one! it seems to stand out more to me.
Linda says
I am voting for the 2nd one as well.

Tough decision. I am drawn towards the first one. I love pink with brown. Either will be lovely.

I love the second one. The colors are a little softer and more feminine than the first one. For some reason, the only thing I notice on the first one are the big brown diamonds and everything else just falls into the background. Have fun picking out Lucy’s room! What a blast!
Joy says
My vote is for the 2nd one! Paint the nursery walls pink and you’ll get more pink, but still have all the color that the bedding offers. The first one was pink-overload.

I love #1, the colors are perfect!!!!
Laura says
I like both. Remember also to look specifically at the portions you’ll be using. The quilt is pretty, but it doesn’t have much use (unless you hang it on the wall or something), and the room will look totally different from those photos depending on how you paint it and what color the furniture and floors are. The sheets will change, too. I picked our set for the wall border, hangings, and bumpers, plus I loved the lamp and ordered that too.

I like the colors in the first one best, but I prefer the look of the bedding in the second one. If I was using the second set, I’d probably either paint the walls yellow or go with that darker pink color.
Phyllis says
They are both adorable but I like the first one!
jenny says
I usually really like brown and pink together but I’m not that crazy about the first set. The second one, though? I love it. I’m thinking a pale purple, lavender, yellow or pink would work for the walls.
Cristy says
I like the first one. It’s more mordern looking.
Cristy says
That’s “modern”.

If I am not too late, I vote #2…. It is more natural…. has a clean restful feeling!
