Joe took the first set of my maternity portraits during our beach vacation. I thought it would be fun to do a shoot halfway through the pregnancy and a second set at the end of the pregnancy. I think they turned out great, despite the fact that I’m not a great smiler. 🙂 And really, do I look super huge for 20 weeks?? I know I shouldn’t compare myself to others, but it’s hard not to, so I feel like I look huge!
And, of course, I had to make sure we left a little piece of Lucy at the beach house.
I’m nervous to see just how much bigger I’ll get by the time we take the second set of pictures. Joe can already barely put his arms around my belly now!

These are SUPER, Cady~you’ll be sooo glad you did these! These are ALL great but the ones that touched me are: Joe kissing Lucy, both tummy hearts ones & the one of you looking down @ Lucy~those are always my faves because it’s so obvious the love you have for Lucy 🙂 Great pics & NOOOO, you are NOT huge. Just look @ it this way & maybe it’ll make it easier~~the more your tummy grows, it just means Lucy is HEALTHY, STRIVING & GROWING 🙂

Your belly looks extra big in some photos but not others. I think it depends on the camera angle. But really you just look healthy and lovely!
Cady, I think you look great. My due date (I Think i’ve told you this before in another post) is december 3rd and I WISH I was as big as you. My belly is quite small at 20 weeks and it makes me ultra paranoid that the baby isn’t growing etc etc. So I think you should embrace your beautiful pregnant belly. I’m still really can’t wear tight shirts — I think I just look like I have a beer gut still. We find out the sex on wednesday and I can’t wait to see the baby again. I’m hoping that will calm the small-belly nerves. Such a great idea for the shoot!
I would say that you DEF look much more than 20 weeks. But I would also say you look ALL BABY and that the rest of you looks totally normal and thin, so no worried. I think you look fabulous and your maternity outfits have been very cute thus far! 🙂
Hey my due date was Dec 2 too! I ended up being born late, on Dec 6. 🙂
