Weekly Wisdom: The baby can come at any time now.
Milestones: One month to go!
I woke up this morning with severe cramps. They lasted from around two hours, and started out quite close together, lasting for between 30 and 40 seconds each. I called my doctor, and she wanted me to come in to get monitored to see if I was going into labor. But, by the time Joe got home and I had showered, they had pretty much stopped. I’m glad it wasn’t labor at this point, but at the same time I was kind of bummed. This made us realize that we probably need to go ahead and pack our bags and put the car seat in the car since she could really come at any point now.
I’m wondering if she’s dropped more. I’m having more pressure in my pelvic area and I feel like I have much less bladder control. Who knows. Maybe I’ll find out at my appointment next week.

Hi Cady!
Sounds like things are getting pretty serious…in a happy sort of way.
From a dad’s perspective, one of the things I remember most about my wife’s pregnancies was during the last month or so it seemed like she spent most of her time in the bathroom.
I’m happy to hear things are moving along normally. Chin up, it won’t be long now!
