I think it’s time to start planning our first Florida vacation as a family. I want to take Lucy to Disney World, and I think next year she will probably be at a pretty good age to hit up “The Happiest Place on Earth”. I haven’t been to Disney World since I was very young (so young, in fact, that I hardly remember the trip), so I can’t wait to go back myself.

However, I can pretty much assure you that we will NOT be going next summer. Summer is hot enough here in Georgia. I can’t imagine how bad the heat is in Florida. I’m thinking more of an early fall trip, sometime before baseball season ends so we can hit up the Tampa Bay Rays stadium, which isn’t too bad of a drive from Orlando.

What do I want to do on our vacation? Well, obviously, we’ll be hitting up Disney World and its related theme parks for the munchkin and, as I mentioned, also make it to a baseball game so we can mark one more stadium off our list.
