unexpected

my car got hit by a ladder today. ok. stop laughing. really. i went to taco bell because i was in the mood for a burrito, and as i was waiting in the drive-thru line, a ladder fell over and hit my car. sigh. our taco bell has been going through a remodel, but i really expected the construction workers to take care of their equipment and, you know, not leave ladders leaning precariously against rocks when it is incredibly windy outside. i drove through the drive-thru and walked over to the building, trying to find someone to help...
