19 Weeks

I really should write these weekly posts a little earlier, as it’s usually close to the next week by the time I get around to it. Oh well. I’m feeling pretty good at this point in the pregnancy. I’m still having sinus congestion problems, but it’s not too bad.

I noticed yesterday that my stomach seems to lean more to the right. Actually, my mom noticed it first and pointed it out to me. It’s kind of weird seeing as how we always find Lucy’s heartbeat on the left side. It also looks kind of odd, at least to me.

I felt a couple of flutters last night, and we found her heartbeat right around the same area afterward. I love the flutters, although I don’t seem to feel them consistently, but I cannot wait to feel her kick. It’s one of the things I’ve looked forward to the most. I really hope it happens soon!

I’ll leave you with a few of the portraits Joe took of me last night after we arrived at the beach. The lighting here is great for pictures. I can’t wait to see how my first maternity shoot turns out.

It’s been 15 years since we said “I do”, and It’s been 15 years since we said “I do”, and where do I even begin? We’ve had some amazing times, some not so great ones, and we really put the “in sickness and in health” part of our vows to the test this last year. This man is always willing to get my pain pills in the middle of the night, has helped me through Covid recovery and does everything I can’t without complaint. He’s also the funniest person I know and can always make me laugh, and he’s pretty hot, too. I am a lucky woman to call him my husband. Here’s to many more years of happily ever after. I love you! ❤️❤️
