last night, joe was installed as president-elect of our kiwanis club. our dads both came for the program and got to enjoy our last steak night of the summer. joe’s been a member of kiwanis for several years now, and the club means a lot to him. he is in charge of organizing a pizza party once a month for children at the local children’s shelter, which is such a great idea because the kids absolutely love it. it’s a lot of fun to go and get to know them. they love the attention. next year, joe will be president, which i guess means i will be the first lady. hehe. i’m so proud of him, and i was very proud to be his wife last night.
