I just started spotting tonight. I’m freaking out that this means I’m having a miscarriage. I really hope they’ll let me have my ultrasound early because I need to know one way or the other. I definitely cannot wait until Friday now. Do any of you know if this is normal??

I spotted with my first pregnancy for quite a few weeks but had no signs of miscarriage. Is your blood type negative? That was my problem. It could also be the placement of the placenta. Try to relax, I know it’s hard cause I freaked out too. I was actually on my way out the door for vacation (THAT SUCKED)Hope everything is ok and I’ll be thinking of you.
I spotted, too… try to get in and see your doc so you can be reassured!
I spotted a lot in the first month or so. It could still be implantation bleeding, so try not to freak out! I was convinced I was miscarrying, but that was not the case!

As you can see from lots of other women, it’s pretty normal. I spotted as well for quite some time with absolutely no explanation from the drs, and Ava turned out just fine. I’ll be praying for you!
hi! my ivf doctor said it happens quite often. I had one spotting epidsode and then a huge bleed a few weeks later. I too was sure I had miscarried but sure enough… two strong heartbeats when I had my scan. I did bump my scan up to the earliest I could have it. I know that you won’t be able to see heartbeats until a certain week…? That is why they ask you to wait ….but I cannot remember how soon I had my scan….
Has your consultant increased any of your meds? I know I had to increase a few of mine when I was spotting….

With my 1st pregnancy (Justin), I spotted too & he turned 13 in December. Hope that’s of some comfort to you 🙂
