Lucy has started to drop! My doctor told me that today at my appointment. She hasn’t dropped much, but she has a bit nonetheless. She’s measuring right on track, and her heartbeat was strong at 150 bpm. It was yet another fantastic report.

I’m not looking forward to my next appointment. I get to have the lovely Strep B test, an iron test and a pelvic exam. Hoo-frickin-ray! I’m not super excited. But, on the bright side, this will be my only pelvic exam. My doctor said they only will do another one if I think I’ve gone into labor or I reach 40 weeks and the baby hasn’t arrived. I’m good with that.

And, after my next appointment I will start going in weekly. That makes me realize just how close we are!
