We are basically done with the nursery. I am *so* in love with it. I can’t wait to get our glider so I can sit in there and just stare at everything and imagine our little girl. We have a few decor items left to put up, but those can’t really be done until after she’s born. And, please pardon the clutter on the dresser and bookcase. I haven’t straightened all that up yet. 🙂
The view as you walk into the nursery. The glider will go in the right corner by the window.

The right side of the room. The animals on top of the dresser were the centerpieces at my work shower. Unfortunately, one of the bunny’s ears came off. I need to put it back on at some point.

The crib with Lucy’s name hanging above it. I wasn’t sure how the letters would look since they’re brighter than the rest of the room, but I think I like the result. Joe thinks the difference in color makes them pop.

A close up of Lucy’s name.

A little alcove on the left side of the room. The wall is empty right now, but our plan is to print a quote on a 12×16 mat and frame an 8×10 picture of Lucy. Then, we’re going to do black and white pictures of her features, like her feet, hands, eyes, etc. and hang them on either side of the large picture. I think it will look really good. Joe found a quote in a book that he’s wanted to use, and we couldn’t really think of a good place to put a vinyl quote, so we came up with the picture idea. That way we can keep it when she gets older.

I just love this room.

The nursery is so cute….now it just needs the baby!
Lucy’s room is absolutely beautiful~you guys did a fab job 🙂 It’s just gorgeous!
